in the betweens of reality and fantasy
Luck/Phantom Chains is a danmaku Touhou/Seihou/Len'en inspired game in production by Choko (or any other name I go with online). It is a story of 2 point of views that split through the timeline: the view of a lively girl and the view of a lost robot.
HOW IT STARTED
It started just like Touhou's world, there was a war between mystical beings and humans, till they decided to create their own world or else Earth would certainly be destroyed. However, instead of being just a certain place that was sealed, they kinda just created Earth 2, the Chained Land (since there's lots of noticable chains thought the series, y'all see muahahha). Said land is protected by Grim Reapers, the current ones being Sepher and Asphodel. After reaching a certain age, they are obligated to retire to give spotlight to other generation of Grim Reapers. When a Grim Reaper retires, they can live in the Chained Land like the common civilians, or die.
GEOGRAPHY
This world is divided in North, Center and South, the North is noticable for having more Asian folklore creatures compared to the South, that has more western creatures. The South is considered more aggressive and chaotic compared to the North that is more chill and not as busy as the South. The Center is a mix of the North and South.
LUCK CHAINS 1 AND 2
Luck Chains happens in a small town of the North, this small city has a ""protector"" of sorts, called Sutekina. I still need to develop which incidents happened but those ain't the first time Sutekina solved incidents (she's just slightly younger in these, LuC1 she's 17, LuC2 she's 18, and LuC3/PhC1 she's 19).
PHANTOM CHAINS (Chains of Oblivion)
On the outside world, there was a project to create super robot soldiers for war, however, that didn't go well, or the robots were breaking too easily, or they were going rogue. And their special prototype model had gone missing, and the blueprints were burned after an arson incident. The project was ultimately cancelled, and the building is now abandoned. Now these robots are just silly myths teens like to talk about on their friend groups.
